Chapelle de Perros-Hamon

This chapel is dedicated to Notre-Dame de Perros (I.M.H. 1925). Called chapel of the shipwrecked by Pierre Loti, the walls of the southern porch are covered of “memorials”, commemorating the many people who died at sea during the Icelandic fishery. Inside, the Baroque-style high altar from the 17th and 18th century reveals the Italian influence.
